Hardy I am sorry for your loss. May God bless and comfort your family.
Arlene was a good friend to me during my one and only year at Somerset High School. We sat together in Connie Neeley’s Freshman home room and Science class together. Arlene was very kind to me when I did not know a lot of people.
During my Freshman year at Somerset, I lived with my Aunt Hazel and Uncle Gene Ping on Richardson Drive, and almost every morning, Spencer and Arlene would take me school in Spencer’s VW and we would listen to the Eagles “Life in the Fast Lane”. Those were good times that forever live in my memory. My only regret is that I never took the chance to hook back up with Arlene following high school and college and continue our friendship. Rest in peace my dear friend and I look forward to seeing you again. God Bless her and her family. — Kim Millay (Cowan).
I grew up next door to Arlene. We had a wonderful childhood playing outside all day with all the kids on the street. I now live in Florida but was lucky enough this past February to get to visit with her. My brother was a patient at the rehab center she worked. We had a great visit and she walked me to brother’s room where she visited with him. So happy we got this time. Praying for her family and her brothers.
thinking of your family. I enjoyed working with Arlene. May time ease your sorrow.
