Charles M. (Mike) Baker, age 72, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, June 8, 2026 at his home.
He was born on January 28, 1954 to the late Chester and Julia Flynn in Somerset, Kentucky.
Charles was a mechanic for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Baker, whom he married on July 29, 1974 and his son Christopher Baker.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Jessica (Marcus) Baker, his sister Mary Flynn-Watson, grandchildren: Makayla (William) Bolin, Damien (Breanna) Baker, Christopher (Tiona) Baker, Denise (Max) Raspperry, Matthew Baker, Jasmine (Tyler) Covert, great-grandchildren: Coraline Baker, Hazel Covert, Clementine Bolin, Lyla Baker and baby boy Baker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 11am-1pm in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Pastor Jessica Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Honor Guard Post #38. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Charles M. (Mike) Baker.
