Rocky Lee Boyd, age 65, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Rocky was born on June 25, 1961, to the late Fred Boyd and Sally Cook in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was a member of Cedar Grove Church of God. He loved to fish, hunt, work with his hands and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Luke Boyd (Jessica), daughters: Nicole Boyd and Melissa Owens, his companion Jena Loveless, sisters: Sybil Whitaker (Jack) and Vickie Cole all of Somerset; along with grandchildren: Nick Boyd, Riley Owens, Braxton Boyd, Penelope Kelsey and Haylee Boyd.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 4pm in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 6pm with Bro. Alan Fisher officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rocky Lee Boyd Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
