Shanoah Brooke Roberts, age 45, passed away at her home in Nancy on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Shanoah was born on February 25, 1981. She was a devoted mother, loving daughter, treasured sister, aunt, and friend. Above all else, her children were the center of her world. She loved spending time with them and cherished the moments they shared. Cne and Kellan loved their mother deeply, and they cared for her in ways that reflected the strong bond they shared. Shanoah attended Oak Hill Baptist Church and valued her faith. She will be remembered for her deep love for her children and for the affection she showed her nieces and nephew, who adored their Aunt Shanoah. She held an important place in the lives of her family. She is survived by her two children, Cne Layne and Kellan Layne; her parents, Roy Roberts and Dana Roberts; her sister, Whitney Estes (Joe); her nieces and nephew, Aurielle Estes, Andrew Estes, and Eleanor Estes; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arlus and Viola Belle Roberts, and her maternal grandparents, Lucian and Lorene McLin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 10am to 2pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2pm with Pastor Alan Fisher and Pastor David Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Shanoah’s memory will be carried forward in the hearts of those who loved her most.
