Jeffrey Alvis Burgin, age 71, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Jeffrey was born on November 12, 1954 to James Burgin and Margaret Sneed. He enjoyed classic cars, his dogs, and watching NASCAR and dirt track racing. He was of the Christian faith and had received baptism.
He was preceded in death by father, James Robert “Doc” Burgin and his brother, James Allen Burgin.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Margaret Louise Edwards (stepfather, Rudolph “Bud” Edwards) of Farmville, NC; son Jeffrey Robert Burgin (Heather) of Richmond, Ky; grandchildren Leif, Odin and Isla Mae; along with a host of family.
There will be no services at this time.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Jeffrey Alvis Burgin.
Jeff my dear friend you will always be missed.
God took you way too soon you will always be in our hearts and in our memories. You can rest in peace now.
