Jimmy Dwayne Hill Sr., age 64 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home.

 Jimmy was born on November 22, 1960 to Roy Hill and Betty Haynes Hill.

He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Oakwood. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors, riding his four wheeler, watching westerns, and especially spending time with his grandkids.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Roy “Knokie” Hill, and a sister Kathy Reynolds.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Betty Hill, sons: Jimmy “JD” Hill Jr of Tateville, Ky; Timothy Hill (Krystal) of Somerset, Ky and Jason Hill of Tateville, Ky; brother Mike Hill (Lee) of Burnside, Ky; sisters: Patricia Murphy (Lee) of White Lily, Ky and Rebecca Daniels (Marc) of Somerset, Ky; grandchildren: Madison, Austin (Destinee), Evan (Kaylee), Allison, Raven, Braylee, Sue, Kayden, Riley, Tianna, great-grandchildren: Analiya, Axtyn and Taytum; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2pm with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in Sloans Valley Cemetery.
