Mark Martin Shadoan, age 32, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, August 3, 2026. He was born on March 21, 1994, to Jeffery Shadoan and Connie Shadoan in Somerset, Kentucky.
Mark was a man who lived life with passion, courage, and a heart that was bigger than words can say. He was a hard worker through and through-dedicated to his craft and never afraid of a day’s work. Whether he was on a roof, on the road, or chasing one of his many adventures, Mark gave 100% to everything he did.
Full of charisma and quick wit, Mark had a way of walking into a room and instantly lighting it up. He was funny, down-to-earth, and could always make anybody feel better- no matter what they were going through. His smile was unforgettable, and his laugh could turn the worst day around. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. He was dearly loved by all who knew him, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
Mark was an adrenaline junkie at heart. He loved the thrill of the open road and the rush of the outdoors. He found peace in the mountains, freedom on the water, and joy in every adventure life had to offer. He lived boldly and on his own terms.
He had a deep love for animals and treated every creature with kindness and respect. Music was the soundtrack to his life-it lifted his spirit and spoke to his soul. Whether it was blasting in the truck or shared with friends, music brought people together, just like Mark did.
Mark also had a love and appreciation for the Spanish language. He enjoyed speaking Spanish and connecting with people through it whenever he could. He loved the culture, the rhythm of the language, and never missed a chance to practice or teach a word or two with a smile.
Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley and Jimmy Shadoan; his grandfather, John Rutherford; his great uncle, Don Walden; his uncle, Tim Shadoan; and his aunt, Pebbles.
