I met Howard through my late husband Scott Gregory. He considered Howard a second father to him. I refer that I was not able to keep in touch with him as much as I should have. He will be greatly missed! Rest in peace my friend! You and Scott can now catch up 🥹
This breaks my heart. I’m so sorry to hear this. Papaw Howard was such a good man. We adopted him into our family years ago. He will be forever missed.
I met Howard 30 years ago when we were teachers in McCreary Co then we both later taught in Pulaski Co. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we enjoyed the back and forth our quick wit afforded us. We enjoyed the long conversations. After his serious accident, I would travel to Lexington each week to check on him and no surprise to me, he was a fighter and survived and made a miraculous recovery. I became friends with his lovely wife later but it was an unfortunate short time. I rejoice in knowing they are together again. I will miss my friend very much.
