John “Jack” Richard Rice, age 69, originally from Taylor, Michigan, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at his home in Nancy, Kentucky.

Jack was born on June 17, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan to late parents John and Theresa Rice. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Darby, son John, sister Deborah, brothers Mark, Carl, and Robert, and his granddaughter Liliana Sage Darby.

Some of Jack’s favorite things to do were; working out, motorcycle riding, Civil War reenactments, cooking, and most of all, spending time with his beloved dogs, Capone, and Dolly.

Jack’s final arrangements were entrusted to Southern Oaks Funeral Home by his family.

From here to eternity, Jack will be missed by his family, friends, and closest companions, Capone, and Dolly.

But… we will see him again in heaven, where Mom and Dad are already with him
