John W. Baker, age 78 of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 9, 1948 in Linwood, Pennsylvania. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Vets and VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Jenks Baker. He is survived by his stepson, Michael Swiger of Nancy.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
