Danny L. Hill, age 68, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Danny was born on February 14, 1958 to John L. Hill and Jo Ann Bates Hill in Tateville, Kentucky.
He enjoyed collecting antiques, homemade quilts, guns and visiting the lake. He was a member of Neely’s Creek Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a brother John L. Hill and sister Helen Bolin and half-sister, Martha Hill.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his caregiver, Gordon Rigney and his sister Ruth Neal of Somerset.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 11am-1pm in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in Burnside Cemetery.
