Glenn Singleton, age 95 ½ years old, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital under Hospice Care.
He was preceded in death by Edith Hornsby Singleton, his wife of 76 years, his great granddaughter Lilian Singleton, his parents Cedric and Rose Owens Singleton, brothers Marvin, Clifford, Robert and sister Marcella.
He is survived by his daughters Brenda and Diane Singleton, son Glenn Barney (Debbie) Singleton, granddaughter Rebecca Singleton (Matt Ford) and grandson Jason Michael (Kaitlin) Singleton, great grandsons, Bryan Ford, Winston Ford, Alex Ford and Roman Singleton, brother Troy (Esther) Singleton and sister-in-law Margie Singleton.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky and a Southern Baptist Pastor for over 60 years. He was the former pastor of Camp Ground Baptist Church, Ferguson Baptist Church and Oak Grove #1 Baptist Church when he retired. He also preached in many other Baptist churches in Pulaski County.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Rillo officiating. Burial will be in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
