James H. Casada, age 65, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his residence.
James was born on February 21, 1961 to the late Starlin Casada and Dessie Morrow Casada in Monticello, Kentucky,
He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, coin collecting, and refurbishing antiques. He loved his animals but most of all he cherished his family, especially his grandbabies.
James was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son James D. Casada (Mariah), daughter Tina Casada, mother of his children: Angela Casada, like a daughter: Jamie Burns (Steve), brothers: Mark Casada, Robert Casada, Chester Casada, and Dallas Casada, grandchildren: James Ryan Ball, Desirae Lynn Ball, Cameron Burns, and Charles Burns.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 11am – 1pm in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the James H. Casada Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
