Donald Lee Decker, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning November 22, 2025 at Somerset, Kentucky after succumbing to cancer.

He was born Aug 25,1961 to the late Hue F Decker Sr and Lela Helton Decker Flynn.

Surviving family members include two sisters, Linda R Hampton
(Kenny Gramlin) of Glasgow, Kentucky, Donna Jean North ( Albert North) of Somerset,
One brother, Hue Frank Decker Jr of Sloans Valley, Ky.
Others including an aunt (Betty Hardwick) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is his infant brother, Hulen Coy Decker,
Donald was a simple man… If he was your friend, he was a friend indeed…he would do anything to help you.

He was known for doing odd jobs, working on his family‘s farm and produce stand.

His hobbies were family, gatherings, listening to music and just hanging out. He enjoyed his motorcycle rides and horseback riding. He was an avid pool player.

Donald was of the Baptist faith and in his teen years he was a song leader!

Donald repeatedly told of his love and great respect for his brother-in-law (Albert Donald North).

Much appreciation to his brother-in-law (Kenny Gramlin and Sister Linda) for helping in his time of need.

His last recognizable speech was witnessed by sister Donna and the Hospice social worker, Amber…

Funeral arrangements are at Southern Oaks Funeral Home Somerset, Kentucky. Family viewing at 11 AM on Saturday, November 29th, visitation at 12 noon, funeral to follow at 2 PM. with Bro Moses Frasure officiating. Burial will be in Somerset City Cemetery.
