Lois Ann Tucker, age 79, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Lois was born on October 17, 1946 to the late Olen Barnett and Vada Lair Barnett in Monticello, Kentucky.
She was a member of Faith United Baptist Church of Monticello and attended Ferndale Baptist Church of Liberty, Kentucky. She loved attending Church, reading her Bible, loved being outdoors, horseback riding and genealogy research, but most of all, spending time with family.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Tucker, her parents, Olen and Vada Barnett, brothers Rudolph Barnett, Ivan Barnett, Randall Barnett, Donald Barnett, and Kenneth Barnett.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Vince Tucker (Janae) of Monticello, Ky; Violet Morrow (JR) of Nancy, Ky; sisters Nancy Woodward (Tom) of Foley, AL; grandchildren Leticia Tucker (Travis Polston), Dylan Tucker (Katelynn), Wayne Tucker (Hannah McAfee), Phillip Piercy, Jordan Piercy (Damion Holtzclaw), Cheyenne Morrow, great-grandchildren Talon Tucker, Taisley Tucker and Ivey Tucker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Bro. David Terwilliger officiating. Burial will follow in Smallwoods Lane Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Lois Ann Tucker.
