Darrell C. Burton age 78, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Darrell was born on July 5, 1947 to the late Clarence Burton and Ina Daulton Burton in Trimble, Kentucky.

On March 11, 2019 gave his heart to the Lord and he attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed competing his quarter horses, fishing, and truck pulls. He loved being on his farm and tending to his animals.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ina Burton, son Jamie Darrell Burton, brother Dale Burton, sisters Freda Gibson and Daphene Lockard.

 He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Pamela Burton, son Mikey Shane Burton (Susan), brothers Lawrence Burton and David Burton all of Nancy, Ky; sisters Christine Pyles (Jerry) of Somerset, Ky; Clarene Stephens (Danny) of Nancy, Ky; Lisa Brock (Corbett Jr) of Somerset, Ky; brother-in-law, Russell Gibson, sister-in-law, Birtha Burton; grandchildren Ashley Nevels, Kayla Colegrove, Cheyenne Burton, great-grandson Colt Nevels.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 11am-12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm with Bro. Greg Lockard officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
