Mona Pearl Hundley, age 87 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born on January 7, 1938 in Wharton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Amos and Relma Whitt Pauley.

Mona was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Orab Church. She loved reading her Bible, going to church, loved her family, and most of all she loved her husband. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. Mona will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Fred Ludwick; a son, Jerry Ludwick; brothers, Earl “Bud” Pauley and David Pauley; sisters, Jean Phillips, Ruth Bumgardener, Sue Coe, Katherine Castle and Mary Goodnite and two grandsons, Jeremy Ludwick and Donovan Ludwick.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Lawrence Hundley; a son, Timothy Ludwick of Mt. Orab, OH; daughters, Sandra Carnahan (Wayne) of Mt. Orab, OH, Sandra Paretta (John) of Midland, OH and Jill Mullis (Scott) of Fayetteville, OH; daughter-in-law, Debbie Ludwick of Somerset, KY; sisters, Sandra Hundley, Connie Acosta and Helen Smith. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Sisson and Bro. Noah Broughton officiating. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery in Green Township, OH at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
