Larry “Lenny” Woster, age 75 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on November 11, 1949 in Mount Healthy, Ohio, son of the late William and Jean Woster.
Lenny was a Veteran of the United States Army where he proudly served his country. He was a self-employed carpenter and of the Baptist faith. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Claudette Wesley Woster; and a sister, Connie Joe Brinson. He is survived by his sons, Johnathan “Lucas” Woster (Makenzie) of Somerset, Lenny Woster of Florida and Benjamin “Adam” Dick of Somerset; grandchildren, Hunter Woster, Layne Woster and Arlo Dick; several cousins and also Ms. Lucy B. Meece of Somerset, who was like family and his beloved cat, Stuart.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Larry “Lenny” Woster. C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
