Wanda Pearl Ridner, age 84, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
She was born on November 11, 1940, in Drum, Kentucky, daughter of the late Oscar and Josephine Hargis Bray.
She was a homemaker and a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed yard selling, canning, gardening, attending church, singing and playing her guitar. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Arlis “Sonny” Ridner; a son, Tommy “Tobo” Ridener; two daughters, Judy “Midge” Smith and Bertie Ridner; brothers, Jerald Bray and Wesley Bray; sisters, Vona Stewart, Donnie Faye Burton and Kathy Gibson; son-in-law, Elvis Smith; and grandchildren, Jordan Woodall and Amanda Woodall.
 She is survived by sons, Bro. Raymond (Teresa) Ridener and Doug (Judy) Ridner all of Somerset; daughters, Wilma (Wendell) Lowery, Barbara (Jay) York, Darlene (Rick) Campbell and Sandy (Doug) Bray all of Somerset; brother, Ronnie Bray of Somerset; sisters, Peggy (Ernie) Simpson of Somerset, Bonnie Davis of Lancaster and Linda Acton of Somerset; sister-in-law, Valerie Bray of Lancaster and brother-in-law, Rick Gibson; 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Rhonda Ridener; special caregiver, Shirley Jackson of Somerset.
 Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridener and Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her grandson’s will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Pulaski County Alzheimer’s Center.
