Edith Jane Hornsby Singleton passed from this life on Saturday April 26, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years Glenn Singleton, 2 daughters, Brenda Singleton, Diane Singleton, 1 son, Glenn Barney (Debbie) Singleton, 1 granddaughter, Rebecca Singleton (Matt) Ford, 1 grandson Jason (Kaitlin) Singleton, 4 great grandsons Bryan Ford, Winston Ford, Alex Ford, Roman Singleton.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Hornsby and Lucy Craft Hornsby and 2 Brothers, W.F. Hornsby and Lucian Hornsby.
She was a Southern Baptist and spent her life time working for the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Somerset, Kentucky.
Visitation for Mrs. Singleton will be held Wednesday April 30, 2025 from 11-1 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. with Bro. William Rillo officiating. Interment will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Edith Jane Hornsby Singleton.
So many memories of this lovely lady who greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and the love of God in her heart. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family.
