Drema Dean McQueen, age 62, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on November 6, 1963, in Florence, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sonny Clifton and Roberta Jasper Dykes.

Drema was of the Baptist faith and a former server at Cracker Barrel. She loved music. She played the drums in high school and continued playing in bands with her father. She was free spirited and enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, going to the lake and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Pam Dykes. She is survived by her son, Craig McQueen (Stephanie) of Shelbyville; daughter, Jasmin Fisher (Kevin) of Somerset; brothers, Tim Dykes (Jeanne) of Somerset, Donovan Dykes of Somerset, Wayne Dykes (Lisa) of Indiana, Clifton “Kip” Dykes of Colorado; Mary Lou Dykes, Liz Messenger (Roy) and Dinah Dykes all of Somerset; grandchildren, Ava McQueen, Parker McQueen, Destiny and Kaden Fisher; special nephews, Rian and Haedyn; nieces, Darian, Devinee and Elizabeth; and special friends, Amber Terry and Tracie Proffitt.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to her Memorial Fund.
