Roger Dale Sneed, age 56, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home.
He was born on April 11, 1969 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of Milford Sneed and the late Rosalie Brinson Keith.
Roger was the sweetest person. He always told everyone that he loved them. He was a dirt track race car driver, played basketball and baseball and was great at both. He enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and fishing before he became sick and in the last few years, his main enjoyment was his family, especially being a Pap-Pap. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church #2.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Keith; brother, Rodney Sneed; and sister-in-law, Amanda Hardwick Burton.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Sneed; daughters, Brooke (Joe) Taylor and Brandi Sneed (Caleb); granddaughters, Clara Jo Taylor and Callie Jane Taylor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mike and Evelyn Hardwick; father, Milford (Charlene) Sneed, stepfather, Lloyd (Lana) Keith; step-sister, Shiley (Daron) Young; stepbrother, Dale (Tiffany) Keith and stepsister, Carol (Jason) Smith.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Meece officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to his Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
