Vincent J. Stephens age 59, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Vince was born on March 14, 1966 to the late Jerry Stephens and Earlene Griffitts Stephens in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
He was of the Baptist faith and he attended Eubank Baptist Church. He loved sharing his faith and his love for the Lord. He was an avid youth sports supporter especially, Pulaski County Maroons girls’ soccer team and LCA Eagles. He loved Oklahoma Sooners football. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his fiancé.
Vince was preceded in death by his father Jerry Stephens and infant daughter, Sabrina Stephens. He leaves behind, his mother Earlene Stephens, his daughter Heather Stephens of Somerset; his fiancé of 10 years, Renee Phillippi, children whom he loved like his own: Jett, Jackson and Jessica Phillippi. Sister Deana Osborne of Somerset; along with nephews Cody Osborne of Somerset, Silas and Sawyer Jones of Lexington.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 6pm-8pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 10am to 1pm with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vince Stephens Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home and to Gideon Memorial Bible Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Vince J. Stephens.
