Alice Darlene Walker, age 83, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on March 4, 2025.
Alice was born on October 3, 1941 to the late Walter McCann and Ruby Diehm McCann in Waterloo, Indiana.
She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed crocheting, NASCAR, country, western, gospel, Bluegrass music, loved gardening and taking care of her horses and cows.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby McCann, son, Scott Edward Walker, brothers: Walter L. McCann, Larry McCann and Danile McCann and long time partner, James Estep
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons: James Ernest Walker of Dades City, FL and John Albert Walker of TN; daughter Kathy Lynn Johns of Nancy, KY; grandchildren: Elizabeth Beasley of Homer, MI; Rebecca Lewis (Brandon) of Somerset, Ky; Andrew Walker and Alexis Walker both of TN; great-grandchildren: Tyler Eakins of TN; Lovisa Wolfe of Nancy, KY; Stephanie Eakins of TN; Aurora Etheridge-Wolfe, Caleb Lewis, Summer Lewis all of KY; along with one great-great granddaughter, Layla Guffey on the way.
Graveside service will be held at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Alice Darlene Walker.
