She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her
She was always my Best friend and we shared so many memories of our involvement in the Collie Club of America and our own state collie club. She was an incredible mentor to me as well. I am heartbroken at her passing.and will miss her dearly.
Barb was one of a kind. Was a big part of my childhood and teen years.
May she rest in peace.
You may be gone but your memory will live on forever. You touched the lives of so many people, my family for sure with your kindness and generosity. Words can’t express how much I will miss our monthly calls. Barb rest in peace dear friend. Tell Dee high for us.
Aunt Barb, RIP. I hope you are reunited with Dee and all your beloved dogs.
Barb loved Collies and owned and exhibited some very beautiful Collies in the 1990′ and early 2000’s she had an eye for top quality dogs and knew what it took to condition and train them, all while loving them as family. She also loved her border terriers.
Barb was always fun to be around and talk to. She had a wonderful, happy personality and loved to talk dogs and could keep the conversation fresh and stimulating. She will be greatly missed by so many people for so many reasons. I’m so very sorry for her family’s loss.
I will also miss my buddy of over 40 years. We both loved much of the same things and was brought together by the love of dogs and horses. Barb was a great traveling companion and always generous almost to a fault. She wanted everyone to be happy. Barb and Dee are back in a peaceful place together now.
Dear Barb, our prayers go out for you and your family. Boating and camping with Barb and David (and all of our other boating and camping friends) were some of the best years of our lives and we were so blessed to have such great friends to raise our kids with.
Mr and Mrs Pickrel were always so kind to me. They treated me like family. When we first moved in to my home I remember Barb and Dee coming over for dinner. Dee fixed a leak in my gas stove line and Barb gave me a tutorial on how to do dishes using less water. It’s funny the things you remember that may seem so insignificant at the time that touch you so deeply and truly speak to their influence on your life. I will miss them both so very much.
Barb was always great to all of “the boys” even when we weren’t quite behaving! Rest In Peace, Mrs. Pickrel.
