David G. Stain, age 74, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
David was born on March 21, 1950 to the late Raymond Stain and Ethel Forester Stain in Houston, Arkansas.
He enjoyed fishing, rock collecting, and traveling to Arkansas to fish. He served 20 years in the United States Army. He cherished his family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ethel Stain, brothers: Joe Stain and Buster Stain, and sister, Mary Ann Humphreys.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Ursula Stain, sons: David Stain of IN and Michael Stain of Somerset, Ky; daughter, Rebecca Wilson (David) of Science Hill, Ky; brother Eric Stain (Nina) of AR; grandchildren: Catherine Stain, Elizabeth Makara, David Wilson IV, baby boy on the way, great-grandchildren: Gene and Risley Stain.
The family will have a service at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for David G. Stain.
