Alberto “Albert” David Otano, age 34, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
“Albert” was born on January 17, 1990 to Jesse Meece and JoAnn Cook Meece in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was of the Christian faith. He loved his bean bag, fishing, making rhythm from anything that made noise, riding the side by side and swinging on the front porch with this Mom.
“Albert” was preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.C. Meece and sister, Dreama Smith.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his caretakers: Rodney and Mauricia Smith, his brother Larry Meece (Stacy) of Monticello, Ky; sister Ashley Sanders, brother-in-law, Doug Smith of all of Somerset, Ky; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 10-11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 11am with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Alberto “Albert” David Otano.
