Brenda C. Hisle, age 79, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at her home.
Brenda was born on May 16, 1945 to the late Eddie Greer and Martha Wright Greer in Beefhide, Kentucky.
She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren more than anything and loved her “God sent blessing” her little dog, C-Cee, she loved her family and most of all the Lord.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Martha Greer, her son, Mark Allan Padgett, sisters: Darlene Greer, Betty Osborne, Barb Hall, Mae Fleming, Joyce Osborne, brothers: Roger Dale Greer, Gene Greer, Paul Greer, Tommy Greer and RE Greer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Brendan Joe Padgett of Winchester, Ky; daughter, Jody Petrey (Vernon Jr.) of Burnside, Ky; sister, Jeanette Aboud, grandchildren: Mark Allan Padgett, Nicholas Kincaid Padgett (Kassadi) and Joseph James Padgett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12 to 2pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to being at 2pm with Bro. Billy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund or the Brenda C. Hisle Memorial Fund. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Brenda Hisle.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Brenda. My thoughts and prayers are with you even though I can not physically be there. I hope it will be a small comfort to know others care .
So sorry for the loss of Brenda, such a tragic loss. We were cousins but I had not seen her for a long time. Sorry I wasn’t able to pay my respects. My mom, Callie was sister of Eddie Greer.
