Charles (Buddy) Edward Jones JR.
Buddy passed away suddenly on December 12, 2024 at his home. Born June 24,1968 in Muncie, Indiana to Charles E. Jones SR and Jessie R. Franklin (Jones). Buddy was raised and attended school in Somerset, Kentucky.
Buddy relocated to Tennessee and started his career in dry wall with his Uncle Johnny Gunter. He eventually grew his career to the point where he opened his own business, where he was active for over 40 years.
Buddy enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion and gift for making crafts that he made with his mother.
Buddy was preceded in death by Father Charles E. Jones Mother Jessie R. Franklin, Brothers Josh and Jason Jones and Grandmother Hattie R. Gunter. He is survived by Fiancé Peggy Justice Walker. Daughters: Jessica Charlie Kaycee, Tangi and Mollie and several grandchildren. Sisters Michelle Pedersen (Walter), Rella K. Newell, Tracie Franklin Brown (Bobby) and brother Scottie Franklin. Step Father Gerald Franklin, Uncle Johnny Gunter and Aunt Kathy Gunter and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers/gifts that donations be made in his name to Southern Oaks Funeral Home, Somerset KY.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12-2pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2pm. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Charles (Buddy) Edward Jones JR.
