Geneva M. Gee, age 75 of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, November 29, 2024 at her home.
She was born on June 6, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Emery and Rachel Loveless Phelps. She was a member of Science Hill Church of Nazarene and retired from Lifeline. She loved to cook, especially for her family during the holidays. She enjoyed watching soap operas, reading the newspaper and love story novels. Geneva will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Gee; brothers, Kenny Phelps, David Phelps; and sisters, Elsie Wolford, Doris Goff, Virginia Hall, Georgia Dalton and Ruby Phelps.
She is survived by a son, George Morris (Hope) Gee of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Regina (James) Terry of Eubank; brothers, Paul (Lori) Phelps of Russell Springs, Wendell (Jeannie) Phelps of Somerset and Emery Jr. (Virginia) Phelps of Science Hill; sister, Shirley Bradford of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Matthew Collins and Joshua Gee; great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Collins, Rylan France, Adalyn France, Ava Terry, Memphis Jones and Weston Stephens.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Bro. Steve Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
