Austin Lavern Sears, age 66 of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at his home.
He was born on April 17, 1958 in Ohio, son of the late Lavern and Laura Barnett Sears. He retired from Cumberland Tire and was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, doing mechanic work on cars, loved the outdoors and spending time with his brothers, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, David Austin Sears. He is survived by his wife, Jody Sears; brothers, Dale (Margaret) Sears of Waynesburg, Michael (Flossie) Sears and Lonnie (Amber) Sears all of Somerset; sisters, Margaret (Ronnie) Woodall, Rose (Johnie) Foster, Alice (Robert) Johnson and Leisa Sears all of Somerset; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Mike McFerron and Bro. Richard Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Randall Herrin Cemetery.
