Mark Christopher Wolcott was born on January 21, 1971 in Harlingen, Texas and went to be with our Lord on November 21, 2024 peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Somerset, Kentucky.
He was self-employed and was the owner/operator of Tile Techs and earned a reputation for doing beautiful custom work in and around the city of Somerset.
Mark enjoyed boating on Cumberland Lake, driving his CanAm over rocky trails, through mud pits and through rough rivers, but what he loved the most was spending time with the love of his life, his Granddaughter Ellie.
When he went down to the Rio Grande Valley, he enjoyed the beautiful beach on South Padre Island.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents H.E. (Jack) & Marge Wolcott, maternal grandparents Bob and Carrie Silva, his parents, Jack Charles (Chuck) Wolcott and Joyce Lynn (Silva) Taubert.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Amber (Richard) Riggs, his daughter Ashley Wolcott, his granddaughters Ellie Riggs and Sophia Wolcott, & his ex-wife, Lisa Wolcott, all of Somerset, Ky, his 2nd Dad Gene (Nancy) Taubert of San Antonio, Tx, his brother Kenneth (Linda) Wolcott of Los Fresnos, Tx, his brother Kyle (Kerry) Taubert & their children Kendall and Kolton, all of Corpus Christi, Tx, his sister Connally (Chris) Allen of Corpus Christi, Tx, his cousin Melissa (Mike) Carl and their children Christopher, Bekah and David, all of Portland, Tx, his nephew K. Bryan (Cristal) Wolcott and their children Caylee, Christi & Noah all of Los Fresnos Tx, his nephew Aaron (Kimberly) Wolcott of Corpus Christi, Tx and numerous friends and acquaintances.
Mark is and will be greatly missed.
“Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen”.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12 to 2pm at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Mark Christopher Wolcott.
Mark was very nice person he will be greatly missed.
