Janice Maxine Brumley, 73, of Ferguson, Ky., passed away on November 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1951, in Pulaski County, Ky., the daughter of the late Dudley Grandstaff and Virginia Maxine Lockard. Janice was a deeply loyal and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she enjoyed a simple life. She intensely loved and enjoyed her dog, Angel and her cat, Buddy and all her grand dogs. She enjoyed her weekly trips to Kroger and listening to the news each day and talking on the phone.
Janice’s husband, Henry M. Brumley whom she married on May 14, 1969, preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, Henry (and Zoe) Brumley Jr., Johnny (and Lexi) Brumley, Jerry (and Patricia) Brumley, and Lucas (and Danielle) Brumley, all of Somerset, Ky.; one brother, Jimmy (Mary) Hardwick, of Bronston and one sister Joyann (Allen) Terry, of Somerset, eleven grandchildren, Matthew (Sydney) Brumley, Haylee and Austin Brumley, Nick Curtis, Zoey (Chance) Hall, Scott Brumley, Trey Hall, Gracie Brumley, Lillee Brumley, Kinsley Brumley and Logan Brumley, and and seven great grandchildren, Christopher Brumley, Carson Brumley, Scarlet Hall, Carter Brumley, Max Hall, Marty Hall, Kannon Brumley and soon to be Dallas Brumley which she was so very excited about.
Along with her parents and her husband, three sisters, Josephine Craycraft, Joyce Sturgill and Jessaline Grandstaff, and one grandchild Leeanna Brumley, preceded her in death.
Janice’s legacy will live on through all the family that she so fiercely loved.
Burial will be in the Renfro Cemetery, Shopville, Ky.
