Joyce Napier, age 79 of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home.

Joyce was born on May 3, 1945 to the late William Scott Keith and Ruby Troxell Keith in Burnside, Kentucky.

She loved to cook and enjoyed gardening in her flower beds.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Keith and a brother, Glenn Keith.

 She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Donald Reed Napier, son, Dennis Godsey (Sharon) of West Chester, OH; daughter, Renee Durham (Brandon) of London, Ky; stepdaughters: Stephanie Napier of North Augusta, SC and Denise Napier of Middlesboro, Ky; brothers: Robbie Keith and Scottie Keith (Jeni); sisters: Linda Bray of Somerset, Ky; Brenda Bray of Corbin, Ky; Rosemary Stone (John) of Ft. Walton, FL; grandchildren: Emmy, James, Madison and Makenzie; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11am in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Joyce Napier.
