Darrell Reffett, age 59, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at his home.
Darrell was born on December 30, 1964 to the late Ed Reffett and Joyce Crowe Reffett in Winchester, Kentucky.
He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, boating, riding his Harley motorcycle, hunting, and cooking for family and friends. He loved spending time with his best friend Remington and was a UK fan. He retired from Columbia Gas of Kentucky after 32 years, where he was a project manager.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Joyce Reffett. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 36 years, Carolyn (Shumate) Reffett, brother, Joey L. Reffett (Gulena) of Richmond, Ky; a special niece whom he loved like a daughter: Brittany Fugate (Jeremy) of Lexington, Ky; a nephew, Sean Kelly of Richmond, Ky and a great-nephew, Elijah Fugate. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Darrell Reffett.
