Lonnie Morgan age 73 of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at his home.

He was born on January 14, 1951 in Avawam, Kentucky, son of the late Harold B. and Alma Fields Morgan. He was a self-employed truck driver a member of Cumberland Church of Christ in Somerset. Lonnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted and faithful Christian and enjoyed watching the birds and talking to God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great grandson, Abel Oakes.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loretta Morgan; son, Lonnie David (Tabitha) Morgan; daughter, Lori Danielle (Gary) Lawson; brothers, William H. Morgan and Ben T. (Sara) Morgan; sisters, Mary Louise Baker; grandchildren, Mason David (Alyson) Morgan, Trevor Daniel (Morgan) Oakes, Audra Dayley (Shyla) Daniel, Samuel Dylan Morgan and Wyatt Daniel Morgan; great grandchildren, Korbyn Oakes and Levi Oakes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Cumberland Church of Christ.
