Violet M. Levine, age 74 of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday May 31, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Unit. Violet was born in Somerset KY on June 4, 1949 to the late Eldon and Stella Gosser Floyd.

 She loved her family and spending time with them. She loved to go fishing and she was always happy to go play bingo and do crafts with her friends at Somerset Nursing and Rehab. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons Jerry Lee and Danny Joe Parmley, two sisters Wanita Cox and Murlie Wesley. Three brothers, Johnny Floyd, Coy Floyd and Kenneth Floyd. Daughter in law Tina Parmley.

 She is survived by three sons Jack (Sue Ann) Parmley, of Somerset Ky, James and (Paula) Parmley, of Somerset Ky and Kenneth Parmley of Monticello Ky. 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

 To honor Violet’s wishes there will be no funeral service. The family will have a Celebration of life at a later time.

 The family would like to thank the staff at Somerset Nursing Home and Rehab and Jean Waddle Hospice Unit for the excellent care of their mom.
