Jerry Elaine Hoskinson, age 70, peacefully left us on March 28, 2024, surrounded by family in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Jerry was born on May 16th, 1953 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Jerry and Joan Stanley, where she was the oldest of six children. She enjoyed doing puzzle games, being outdoors and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She married Danny Joe Hoskinson on May 21, 1988 and they spent 24 loving years together.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Jerry Whitt: and one sister, Rhonda Schrull, one granddaughter Aubrey Whitt and one grandson Glen Whitt.
She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Whitt, Brandy Whitt (and Christopher Hall), Jenny Whitt, and Cheri Hall; She is also survived by four of her siblings: Robert (and Lisa) Stanley, Timmy Stanley, Keith (and Brenda) Stanley, and Anita (and Ricky) Brown. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
It was the family’s request to have Jerry cremated and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Jerry Hoskinson. She will be buried with her husband in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
