James Baker, age 77, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away from this life on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024.
James was born March 23, 1946, to the late Charles and Mary (Bullock) Baker of Somerset, KY.
James enjoyed spending time with his fur-babies “Tasha” and “Riley”. He also liked to work on his cars, fish and spend time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Valerie (King) Baker; parents Charles and Mary (Bullock) Baker.
He leaves behind to treasure his memory his brother Lewis (Elsie) Baker; sisters Barbara King of Lancaster, KY and Brenda Sue (Carl) Chittwood of FL; several nieces and 1 nephew. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10am in the Chapel at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in Science Hill Cemetery, Science Hill, KY.
