Dr. Ryan Brown 43, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away in Denver, Colorado, on Monday, February 5, 2024, following a brief illness.
Dr. Brown was born in Noblesville, IN on February 26, 1980, to Larry Joe Brown and Judy Brown. He graduated from Hamilton Heights High School in 1998, before studying and obtaining a Biology Degree in 2002 at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2006. He completed Orthodontic Residency at Indiana University in 2012. Dr. Brown has owned and operated Cumberland Orthodontics since 2014 and was awarded Omicron Kappa Upsilon Academic Achievement Award 2005, Valedictorian of Dental Class 2006.
Dr. Brown was a member of Southside Church of Christ where he was active in leading worship and devotionals. He was always ready and willing to help others who were in need.
Dr. Brown was a passionate fisherman, spending time on Lake Cumberland with his sons and his friends.
Dr. Brown was preceded by his father, Larry Joe Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, whom he married on June 7, 2003. Dr. Brown and Beth have three children: Chloe, Hudson, and Mason. He enjoyed singing gospel songs and reading Bible stories with his children.
Dr. Brown also leaves behind his mother, Judy Brown, his maternal grandmother, Alberta Parker, sisters: Amy Brown Rosales (Jose) of Indiana; Sara Beth Brown of Indiana; 2 nephews Joe and Jackson Rosales; along with several cousins and a host of friends.
Family and friends will celebrate Dr. Brown’s life and honor his memory at a service on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Somerset. The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Kyle Blevins and Bro. Michael Ray officiating.
