Jessica Pitman age 32, of Richmond, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her home.
Jessica was born July 30, 1991 to Billy Pitman and Lisa Tucker Pitman in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, going to concerts and traveling. She adored her furbabies “Shady” and “Chicken”. She loved her job as a social worker for the Southern Bluegrass Region of Kentucky and her co-workers. She loved her family and will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Jessica leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents Billy and Lisa Pitman and her brother, Joseph Pitman all of Nancy, Kentucky along with her boyfriend, Matt Jenkins and a host of friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10am-12pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Jessica Pitman.
I am so sorry to hear this! She was our social worker that fought so hard for my daughter and continued to love her even after portion of the job was done! She was truly an angel sent to us and now she truly is an angel! She will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers and her family! She will continue to do her work from above now!
