To All the Family of Doris Rice- especially Lennis, Teresa and Ashlynn I am so blessed to have known Doris. She was always so so very kind to me. She was a wonderful baker and made me homemade banana bread that was beyond delicious. Lennis forever was coming to my rescue. I pray that God give you all comfort and peace that only HE can provide.
Thank you, Amanda.
We are so very sorry for your loss. May God give you peace and comfort. God bless
Thank you, both.
I grieve with you in your great loss, and my prayers are with you all. As followers of Jesus, we cheer each other on as we each strive to reach the finish line; yet when someone we love actually crosses, swallowed up in unimaginable victory, it knocks the wind from our very souls. From that moment on, our comfort is realizing the joy they are feeling to cheer us from heaven.
May the sweetness of your memories become the unwavering promises of your future. Jesus is coming to make everything right, much sooner than we probably realize.
Running with you in love – Julie Kahler.
Thank you, Julie.
We have no idea how we will get along without our beloved Aunt Doris, the matriarch of our family. She was thoughtful, giving, generous, a wonderful cook and baker, and quick with a laugh. She was so very dependable and seemed to have endless energy. She was a planner with great attention to detail, and always kept herself looking impeccable, with a great sense of style. To say we will miss her is an understatement, as our family functions will have a great void, and she’s no longer just a phone call away. We will see her again, thanks to our Lord and Savior✝️ Until then, we will cherish our beautiful memories and shed a few tears of sadness.
Thanks for your sweet words and all your support, Karen.
A true beautiful lady! As a coworker at Kmart, she was kind and later as a friend she was a blessing. Doris’ encouragement will always be remembered. Love to each of you.
My prayers are with you and your family during this time. I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady loved seeing her smile face at the football games and every time I went into Kmart. I know she will be greatly missed.
I was so sad to hear that Doris had passed away. We worked together at Kmart several years ago. I loved her and have such fond memories of the times we shared . She had such a quick wit, encouraging spirit and loving nature. Doris loved her family so very much and was so proud of each of them. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lennis, her children and grandchildren. Sincerely, Susan Atchley
Thank you, Toby.
