William Steve Thompson age 55, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home.

Steve was born October 11, 1964 to the late William Harmon Thompson and Rosie Hollars Thompson in Whitley City, Kentucky.

He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and liked collecting knives, axes, guns, and other antiques. He liked spending time at the flea market, loved the outdoors, NASCAR, drag racing, motorcycles and anything with horsepower. He was a hilarious story teller, cancer survivor, talented brick mason and fork lift operator. He loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Dianna Thompson, son, Steven Thompson of Somerset, daughters, Britney Ragland (Brandon) of Lexington, Ky, Hillary Farmer (GJ) of Scottsville, Ky, stepdaughters, Alyssa Wilson (Nathan) of Science Hill, Kasey Bumgarner (Ashley) of Dayton, OH,  sisters, Cathy Engle (Robert Kean) of Nancy, Goldie Thompson of Somerset, five grandchildren, Jack Farmer, Kenzie Farmer, Jocie Farmer, Alexander Ragland, Rhett Farmer, step grandchildren, Addyson Wilson, Anslee Wilson, and Sebastian Bumgardner.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Cemetery.
