Former Michigan resident, Larry Gene Fetty, age 77, went home November 23, 2019 at St. Joe’s Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Larry was born February 4, 1942 in Adrian, MI, to Ernest & Dorothy Fetty.

Larry enjoyed being outside. Whether it be working in the garden, hunting, or shooting his guns from his collection. When he wasn’t outside, he could be found watching his John Wayne movies, reading, and squabbling with his wife Judy Fetty.

Larry served his country in the United States Marine Corp., as an Automotive Mechanic. In 1964 he returned to civilian life as a Private with a National Defense Service medal and a Good Conduct medal.

Larry worked at multiple GM facilities until retiring from General Motors Powertrain (Toledo, OH), after almost 40 years, in 2005. Upon retirement Larry moved to Eubank, KY with his wife Mrs. Judy Fetty.

Larry is survived by his wife of 23 years (42 yrs together) Judy (McCarley) Fetty. Son: Matthew Fetty; Robert (Bridgid) Halloway. Daughters: Annette (Marty) Nichols; Denise Fetty-Bales; Angelica Barnes. Sisters: Diane Magnum; Katherine (Steve) Fetty-Daycon. Grandchildren: Drew, Harmony, Katie, Becky, Liam, and Kiera. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his father & mother, Ernest & Dorothy Fetty. A son, Jason Fetty. A grandson, Adam Bales.
