Grandma, you were a light in my life. You made me feel loved and valued. I miss our funny conversations and your wit. Not only did you know how to feed my heart and spirit, but you definitely knew how to feed my tummy as well (a little too much). From you I learned to enjoy a slice of tomato with my meal, particularly when paired with your delicious biscuits and gray. Oh, and can’t forget the Bob Evans sausage. Speaking of Bob Evans, you introduced me to Bob Evans, and Ruby Tuesday’s, and most importantly Cracker Barrel which I still love to this day. Our times joking with each other are precious memories. I do not regret the day I “kidnapped” you and we drove to the Knoxville Zoo or our day on Lake Cumberland fishing even though you did not want to get on that boat, you talked about how fun it was for years. I will always cherish the day I bought you “The Jeremy Bush” out of the back of a pick up truck that became a beautiful tree in front of your home. Thank you for loving me all those years even when you did not know where I was. You are a bright and shining star and I am happy that you were laid with grandpa in that beautiful spot. Give grandpa a big hug for me. I will see you again when it is time. I love and miss you. -Your #1
