Cory Brant Rambo, age 29, passed away suddenly at his home in Ferguson, Kentucky, on Friday, June 7, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1989 to Amy Kennedy Rambo Wesley and Ronald Rambo.
Cory is survived by his parents, Amy Wesley (Charlie) and Ronald Rambo; grandmother “Mammy” Joetta Kennedy; four sisters, Savannah Jo Wesley, Ashley Wesley and Bridget Keith (Michael) and Selena Fikes, as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his cat Gretel.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather “Pap” Darrell Kennedy, paternal grandparents, Ilene and Bob Rambo, and a brother Dylan Rambo.
Cory professed his faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized two years ago. He was employed at Pro-Fab in Somerset. He was a graduate of Pulaski County High School. He was very artistic, loved riding his dirt bike, being outdoors, fishing and hunting, and just loved nature. He was a very quiet, kind and compassionate man who is loved and will never be forgotten by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

I love Cory so much. It still doesn’t seem real , the words I’ve read. When he was just a little boy I would call him CORYOREO. He seemed to like it. I called him that a few years ago and said to him…… I guess you’re too old now for me to call you that. That beautiful smile came across his face and he said…,,, Aunt Brenda, you can call me that as long as you want to !!! Cory was a very special young man. He will be missed very much.
I miss you every day. I wish we would’ve had more time together. You were truly such a beautiful soul that I’ll hold in my heart forever.
My precious and such a sweetie Grandson. Go fly high now that you have gained your Angel Wings!!! You will forever be loved and never forgotten! You were always such a pride and joy to your Pap and I and we are/were so fortunate that God let us have you for the years you spent on earth. Until we meet again HUGS and KISSES. Love Mammy Joetta
So saddened to hear of Cory’s passing. He was such a sweet young man. He was a great friend to my son Tyler. We will miss him so much.
