Claude Pyles “Jr” age 67 of The Slickford Community of Wayne County Kentucky passed from this life March 6, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born December 16, 1951 in The Slickford Community to Claude and Leva “Levie” McGinnis Pyles.

Jr proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Belden Wire and Cable.

He enjoyed being out in the mountains riding dune buggies and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Leva “Levie” McGinnis Pyles and one brother Therman Pyles.

He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Bailey Pyles, two sons, Chauncey (Mandy) Pyles of Monticello KY and Chad Pyles of Monticello KY. One stepson, Christopher (Leslie) White of Indianapolis IN and one stepdaughter, Jennifer Brown of Monticello KY. Eight grandchildren, McKinley Brown of Burkesville KY, Michaela Brown of Monticello KY, Lucas Upchurch of Fort Campbell KY, Weston Pyles (Kelsey) of Fort Riley KS, Caylee Pyles of Albany KY, Alexandra White of Indianapolis IN, Ella White of Indianapolis IN, Conner Duzan of Indianapolis IN. Four great-grandchildren, Kayden Houp of Monticello Ky, Jordon Houp of Monticello KY, Hunter Houp of Monticello KY, Patricia Upchurch of Fort Campbell KY. Four sisters, Betty Dishman of Indianapolis IN, Barb Dishman of Albany KY, Darlene Hicks of Monticello KY, Margie Kennedy of Monticello KY. Two brothers Ronnie Pyles of London KY, Tony Pyles of Monticello KY, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is loved and will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the Slickford Community for all family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, The Alzheimer’s Foundation, or Dementia Society.
