Reba Phyllis Dishman, age 92, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on October 3, 1925 in the Jonesville Community in Wayne County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herstle and Myrtle Nevels New.

Reba enjoyed flowers and going fishing. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved her dog “Benji”. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Herstle and Myrtle New, her husband; Raymond Dishman, an infant son; James G. Dishman, three brothers; Vernon New, Paul New and Hulan New and one sister; Geraldine Fox.

She is survived by three daughters; Diane Douaou and Judy Dishman, both of Somerset, and Janet Dishman of Danville, her grandchildren; Travis Curry, Brooke Sutton, Casey (and Julie) Curry, Willow (and Shawn) Branscum, Jared (and Sara) Dishman, Jasmin Moore and Donnan (and Amber) Helton, great-grandchildren; Keely Squires, Abigale Curry, Chase Curry, Lauryn Curry, Morgan Curry, Blake Dishman, Austen Dishman and Riley Branscum. She is also survived by James and Betty Waters of Somerset, whom she loved as her own children.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Science Hill Cemetery with Bro. Murrell Crockett officiating.

Pallbearers will be Travis Curry, Casey Curry, Jared Dishman, Shawn Branscum, Mike New and Charlie New.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
