La’Donna Fern McLin, age 62, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, July 06, 2017 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky after an extended illness

She was born on November 5, 1954 in the Naomi Community of Nancy, Kentucky, daughter of the late Everett Halcomb and Lillian Vaughn Holcomb.  La’Donna was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and cleaning the house.  She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Ms. McLin was preceded in death by her parents and her previous husband; Gary McLin

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her sons; Chris McLin of Nancy, and Derrick and (Jessica) McLin of Shopville along with her grandchildren; Paige and Caitlyn McLin and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Piney Grove #2 Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.  In Lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Piney Grove Cemetery “Mowing Fund” in Memory of La’Donna McLin.
