Tammie Sue Truesdale Wilson, age 42, of Somerset passed from this life on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving and caring family and friends.  She was born on August 3, 1974 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of James K. And Sue A. Whittle Truesdale.  She was as a Retail Salesperson at Lee’s Ford.

Tammie was a member of the Sardis Methodist Church where she first became a Christian and later was baptized and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church of Somerset. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a positive influence for many and touched the lives of several young people of whom she loved.

She was preceded in death by her father in law; Virgil Wilson

Tammie was married to Dennis W. Wilson on October 11, 1999                           at the Sardis United Methodist Church in Nancy, Kentucky and he survives. She is also survived by her parents; James and Sue Truesdale and her mother-in-law; Margie Wilson, her son; Cody Rainwater of Nancy, Step-son Codie Wilson and Raven Phelps of Bronston, Daughter; Hannah Wilson of Nancy, Step-daughter; Alexus Wilson  and (Josh) Wadsworth of Shopville, Brother; Charles Truesdale of Nancy, Sister; Kelly and (Gary) Russell of Nancy, Laura and (Billy) Cheek of Somerset along with her special nieces and nephews; Matthew and Sarah Russell, Raegan and Somerlin Cheek and Cullen Wilson and her step-grandchildren; Allie and Jaylex Wadsworth, and a host of cousins, family and friends. A special note of appreciate is extended to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Staff in the Intensive Care Unit for their compassionate and personal care.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 A.M on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the White Oak Baptist Church with Brother Isaiah Super Officiating. 

In Lieu of flowers and in her memory consider donations to the Kentucky “Save a Life’ organ donation of which Tammie was passionate about and contributed to.
